Madison, Wis. --  TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Madison, a locally owned moving company, was nominated for Outstanding Small Business at the 30th Annual National Philanthropy Awards Luncheon.

The awards luncheon is organized by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Madison Chapter, and honors businesses and people in the Madison area who have made notable philanthropic impacts.

“It is humbling to have been nominated for Outstanding Small Business,” TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Madison owner Tim Lightner said. “It’s special to see so many companies make philanthropy part of their mission. Giving is one of our core values and we’ve been able to donate nearly $1.5 million in services back to the community over the past 24 years.”

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® was nominated for the award by Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin for their contributions to the annual NBC15 Share Your Holidays food and fund drive, which raises assets to assist Second Harvest Foodbank’s fight against hunger.
