La Valle Community Relies on Bottled Water After Contaminant is Found in the Well

A few weeks ago, Second Harvest Food Bank provided a month’s supply of water to the village of La Valle, to help with the city's public health crisis over contaminated water. Access to safe water is a basic human right -- this will allow the community members to focus on their daily lives rather than where they can find clean water. Assisting families and communities in times of need is an essential part of Second Harvest Food Bank's mission. We are proud to be part of the effort to help our friends and neighbors.
