Corporate Partnership

May every neighbor know nourished.

Partner with us in support of the community that your staff and clients live and work in. With your support, we are able to maintain and increase our services to meet the continual need for food assistance in southwestern Wisconsin head-on.

Exciting opportunities for employee engagement and tremendous marketing exposure are available through sponsorship of annual events like the NBC15 Share Your Holidays to eliminate hunger campaign and Go Orange for Hunger Action Day, as well as through sponsorship of our programs like Kids Cafe, Farm to Foodbank, and Mobile Pantry.

Ways to Partner:

  • Corporate Gifts
  • Campaign and Event Sponsorships
  • Institutional Grants
  • Volunteering
  • Matching Gifts
  • Fund Food Drives
  • In-kind Donations

“It means a ton to the employees that take part in our efforts to support Second Harvest. They really get to live out the value of caring for others. They feel: ‘ok, this is a small thing that I can do to help,’ but how the families respond is so humbling, and we’re grateful to get to be a part of that.” – Julie Bauer, Alliant Energy Foundation Executive Director

Employer Matches

Many employers offer matching gift programs to encourage their employees to support charitable causes such as hunger relief. An employer may match your gift or volunteer time dollar for dollar – and sometimes by much more. It can be easy to double or even triple the value of your donation to Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin with a matching gift!

FAQ: Employer Matches

The information below answers commonly asked questions about matching gifts. For additional information, contact the Donor Relations Team at 608-216-7202.

Look for your employer’s name on the “Double the Donation” search feature above. Don’t see it? Ask your human resources department if they offer a matching gift benefit. (And if they don’t offer it at present, you might want to ask them to consider doing so).

If you used the “Double the Donation” search feature above, look for an email from Double The Donation with instructions.

Otherwise, you can check with your human resources department for instructions. They may ask you to complete a paper form or apply online. Or, they may have a payroll deduction program with matching so you can “set it and forget it.” Most applications only ask for your name, address, and details about your gift — it’s simple!

Please complete the form and send it along with your gift to:

Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin
2802 Dairy Drive
Madison, WI 53718

Second Harvest Foodbank completes its portion of the form and returns it to your employer, who in turn sends in the matching gift donation.

Many businesses offer this benefit to their retirees as well. Just ask.

Many employers will still match your gift after the fact. Check with them about their requirements.
