Give Time

Volunteers packing onions into family sized portions

Volunteering is a great way to help your community fight hunger. Essential to Second Harvest Foodbank’s mission, volunteers average 5,300 hours of service each month. This donated time is equivalent to 30 full-time employees — a considerable costs savings for Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin.

At Second Harvest Foodbank, there are so many fun ways to give time for hunger relief, and we’re always looking for volunteer support. Whether you’re interested in repacking food into family-size portions, office work, special events, answering Second Harvest Foodbank’s FoodShare Helpline or you have special expertise to share, we have a volunteer position for you.

Visit Second Harvest Foodbank's Current Volunteer Opportunities page to learn about fun opportunities for groups and individuals, including any age requirements.
