Turn
Old Toner Cartridges into Funds for Second Harvest
Did
you know…many printer toner cartridges returned to the
office supply store for recycling end up in landfills.
Help reduce the environmental impact of your organization’s
printing needs by donating your empty laser cartridges (excluding
home-size printer cartriges) to Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern
Wisconsin.
We work with Shadow Fax, a Madison-based, family-owned business
who specializes in manufacturing recyclable printer cartridges,
to give these cartridges new life. And by helping save the environment,
you also help end hunger in southwestern Wisconsin. Each
laser cartridge donated to Second Harvest generates funds for the
foodbank (excluding home-size printer cartriges).
Over a 20-year period, Shadow Fax, winner of the 1997 Governor’s
Waste Reduction and Recycling Award, estimates having kept 75,000
tons of empty cartridges out of Wisconsin landfills.
