Community Change

Make donating part of your shopping routine! Donate your non-perishable food items at Hy-Vee on E. Washington Ave., Madison. Stop by the donation cart at the front of the store for a list of foods most needed by the Foodbank.
Purchase a vehicle at Jack Safro Toyota or Ford and elect to have Jack Safro donate $20 (60 meals) to Second Harvest Foodbank.

Move for Hunger
Don't throw out unopened, non-perishable food when you move! Move For Hunger teams up with relocation companies that will help you box unwanted non-perishable food on your moving day and deliver the donations to Second Harvest Foodbank.

Locations: The Nitty Gritty, 223 N. Frances St./Madison and 21021 N. Gammon Rd./Middleton Details: The Nitty Gritty will donate 10% of lunch sales on Mondays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Donate at Madison-area Panera Restaurants through the Panera Cares Community Breadboxes to support Second Harvest Foodbank’s food sourcing operations and provide high-quality, frozen soup. In addition, Panera will direct 10% of all funds donated by its customers to the Feeding America national office and support efforts to source and distribute quality food to the Feeding America network.
Project 7
Date: May 1, 2012 - May 13, 2013Details: For every Feed the Hungry Product (water, gum, mints, coffee, iPhone case, t-shirts) sold by Project 7, seven meals will be donated to Feeding America. Donations from purchases made in Second Harvest Foodbank's service area will be split 50/50 with Feeding America. Learn more and find one of 7,000 participating retailers.
Roundy's Supermarkets, Inc. and Alterra Coffee
Fight hunger with a donation when you purchase Alterra Coffee. Alterra Coffee offers a selection of eight Fair Trade Certified and certified organic coffees to benefit Second Harvest. For each pound of Alterra Coffee sold through Roundy's Supermarkets (Copps and Pick 'n Save), Roundy's donates 50 cents support our hunger-relief efforts.

Unopened, non-perishable food and non food items can be given to Two Men and a Truck crews on moving day for delivery to Second Harvest Foodbank.
